| Long Review: | I'll admit to not knowing much about Napoleonics here. I will judge these figures purely on their sculpting and what I have been able to glean on the period in a (very) short browse on the web. General: the figures are done in a neat, clean style which I associate with a lot of JB's work. The casting is also clean, with minimal flash. The figures I have (three Spaniards and an armed priest) certainly look like the other Spanish Napoleonic figures I've seen, both in terms of dress and pose. The muskets all look right too. I think, if I have to level criticism at the figures, it would be that they are larger and bulkier than most of the figures I'm familiar with; a fact which doesn't quite square with the (admittedly preconceived) notion that the Spaniards of this period and conflict were usually smaller and scrawnier than the French and English. |
| Commentary: | Good figures which should paint up very easily. |
