| Long Review: | The Universal Carrier which I received is cast in one part on an integral base, and contains a few small metal parts and the crew. There are some neat illustrations on the BAM website showing where the metal bits go. The underside of the body required a little cleaning- it's the moulding plug, and also a small number of bubbles in the resin, which are easily filled. The model captures the look of the carrier rather well, and, although I can't decide whether it is a Mk I or a Mk II (the differences are so slight that it will work as either). |
| Commentary: | A useful bit of transport for the British. It can be used for the Desert, Italy or Western Europe, and many were even given to the Russians as Lend-Lease kit- and BAM do a Russian crew for it. |
